aHHH.... Six glorious nights to experience Sicily.... all starts with -- Upon arrival at the Catania international airport we will be there to meet you and privately transfer you to your hotel in Taormina.. the beautiful Panoramic Hotel Taormina!
Time to rest, settle in, use the hotel's facilities or go to the beach. Welcome dinner in Taormina this evening. 
Experience the incredible magic and majesty of Mt. Etna on this full day experience, where we will meet you in the morning at 09;30 AM. Your professional, English speaking, knowledgeable guide, will help you navigate the precious roads up to the Silvester Craters, where you will have time to walk and explore this terrific volcanic landscape.
You will have time for a fabulous coffee or snack in this magnificent location, before we head down the mountain to the northern side of the mountain which is dotted by fantastic towns which you will admire en-route to the Cantina Patria, which is one of Sicily's most acclaimed and appreciated wineries, with spectacular views over the countryside. Here, you will enjoy numerous wine tastings, fantastic Sicilian lunch and guided tour of this prestigious winery which for years provided the wine to the Vatican and several other important Italian and European establishments. 
Another day, we will venture south to the beautiful city of Siracusa which is spread out over the island of Ortigia. This is one of the most important towns in Sicily to visit, with a beautiful waterfront and fantastic locations to visit all over the island with your licensed local guide who will bring the history of Magna Grecia (Greater Greece) to life for you.This morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel we will venture south to the beautiful city of Siracusa which is spread out over the island of Ortigia.

The next morning, you will experience the extraordinary island of Sicily by boat as well as Isola Bell and secret coves. This morning you will also enjoy a celebratory toast of Prosecco on board with your captain and then return in the afternoon to the harbor where you will have a Sicilian style lunch on the beach (included) and time at leisure on the beach in the afternoon.
In the evening, guests will have the opportunity to head up on the funicular to central Taormina for a time to explore the town with our local representative and enjoy dinner in the old town at leisure. 
The next day, we will head up the spectacular northern coast of Sicily to the town of Savoca, which became famous when it was featured in the Godfather series.
The town is considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in Sicily with good reason and you will enjoy walking up to the gorgeous church overlooking the valley and sea below with our local guide. Following our morning walk, you will enjoy an extraordinary hands-on cooking experience in Savoca where you will make past and a variety of Sicilian specialties which you will enjoy for your lunch with a variety of wines. Following our cooking lesson, we head to Forza D'Agro another beautiful town with spectacular views where we can get some great coffee and gelato, before heading back to Taormina where you will enjoy the rest of your evening at leisure. 
And then even a day relaxing on the gorgeous beach or at the hotel's swimming pool.
There is fine shopping and numerous artisans in the town or the gorgeous Mediterranean sea to enjoy at leisure today in Taormina, before a day of travel tomorrow. We propose our farewell dinner in Castellamola this evening, which offers spectacular views over the fabulous coastline. |

Here are some of the great things we are looking to include for the week in Amalfi..... -- We will arrive in Naples and travel to our in Sorrento for welcome dinner -- We will spend the week at the private Villa Esattezza. Each room -- each room queen beds and ensuite bathroom -- Private Tour of the Amalfi Coast including the gardens of Ravello and lunch at the incredible Torre Normani restaurant with gourmet lunch 
You will enjoy a full day tour of Capri. While you tour around the islands, aboard the boat you will enjoy some Italian panini, beverages and light snacks.
Time and weather permitting today you will visit the Blue Grotto, however becuase of extremely long-line ups sometimes it is not possible. |
Spend a day cooking at the Terranova farm where guest will experience a farm to table immersive cooking experience and tour through the lemon groves.

No doubt, visiting the ruins of Pompeii will be one of the highlights of your trip to southern Italy. Our wonderful local historic guides will bring the history of this majestic ancient city to life during your morning tour.
